Alright, so last time I tried this, nothing really became of it. But this time, I intend to make it work!

I've started a new roleplaying forum, Voices in the Depths. Here's an abridged version of the summary from the site:

"Voices in the Depths is a roleplaying forum about... merpeople. That's right. Merpeople.

These merpeople live in the Coral City, which is the center of a tiny underwater empire that's formed over hundreds and hundreds of years in isolation from any human society. Or so most people would believe... The crazy hermit Talyesin has different theories. But no one listens to him anyway.

The Mer have a distinct culture built of family hierarchy. First comes the family of the king, and then a bunch of noble families of decreasing influence all the way down to those no-name families that no one likes to associate with. They have a fairly religious culture, worshipping a variety of gods and spirits and things... There isn't much of a set religion, due to the sheer number of deities worshipped, but the most common are Lark, god of dreams and music who protects the empire from danger, Moon, who controls the currents, and Myriad, who is a dragon-like god of life, death, and healing.

It is a peaceful society...

A peace that may be broken with the more adventurous younger generation, much to the chagrin of the older folks. And that's where you come in. Happy role-playing!"
